How to Enter:
Do I have to enter online? How and Where do I Enter? Can I mail in my entry or payment?
* To enter the race, you will need to set up a Saddlebook account. Your personal account will have your contact information, and your horse's profile. Each horse entered will need its own profile. Please use registered name, we report to Equistat. Once you have account set up you are ready to enter.

* Online is the only option to both enter and pay.
What are the "green" highlighted numbers and "required" mean in Saddlebook?
These are internal "software" programming numbers. You can ignore these !!
Do I have to provide my horse's registration papers?
*If you are entering the Futurity, Maturity, or Open Idaho Bred Sidepot, YES.
Registration papers can be uploaded to the Saddledocs section of Saddlebook. Once you select your payment option at checkout your entry will prompt "Horse Papers" options, select the "add image" button. From here you will be able to upload a new picture.
What if I have multiple Horses to Enter?
Each horse will need a profile set up in SaddleDash before you start your entry. Then when you select which classes you want to enter, select each horse and check out all at once.
Where do I find the Event on Saddlebook?
*Select Barrel Racing from home page and scroll through the "Events" listing. These are by date, find 2022 Idaho Barrel Futurity link with Logos.
* The Friday night Jackie Roeser Memorial 2D Sweepstakes has a separate link on April 29, 2022> Black Logo

What if I want to run later in the Open draw?
* Draw preference is an option, we cannot guaranteed this, but we will do our best to accommodate. You can select early draw or later draw. If no option is selected, you have no preference.
Where do I enter the Future Fortunes or Tomorrow's Legends Incentives?
* The Future Fortunes money is added to the Open on Saturday this year. The Tomorrow's Legends incentive money is added to the Open on Sunday. Select the appropriate sidepot class when entering open. Once entered, email your entry form (from forms tab) and copy of registration papers to [email protected].
Where do I enter Timed Runs for Friday what are what are the Thursday Group Rides?
*Friday Timed runs are only available to Futurity runners until March 14 at 8am. After that time, they will open to all. Friday timed runs are $5 each. Check Saddlebook for available spots.
* Thursday Group Ride Times - pay $20 and share the arena with 4 others for 15 minutes. Barrels and the eye are set during this time. Want the full arena to yourself or 4 friends? Reserve the full time slot for $100 and you will have 15 minutes of the full arena for 5 people.

Can I reserve Group Rides or timed runs (when open) prior to entering? I want to make sure I get them reserved prior to entry fees submitted?
* Yes, you can reserve your group rides without officially entering a class. You can also reserve your Friday timed runs as soon as they open on March 14 too. You will still have until April 1 to submit your entry and make your payments for class.
Futurity
Where do I enter futurity time onlies?
* Futurity horses will receive 2 free time onlies with their entry ~ these will run in draw order on Friday 7am to noon.
* Priority given for additional futurity riders for time only spots until March 14, then they are open to everyone.
What is the Idaho bred co-sanction?
* If your horse is Idaho bred, please select the free co-sanction option to be eligible for the top Idaho bred award.
* Futurity horses will receive 2 free time onlies with their entry ~ these will run in draw order on Friday 7am to noon.

What is the Idaho bred co-sanction?
* If your horse is Idaho bred, please select the free co-sanction option to be eligible for the top Idaho bred award.
Payments:
How do I split my payments for Futurity and Maturity Entries when one is due March 1 and one due April 1?
* For the split payments you have 2 options: If you pay with the debit or credit card option, the SECOND payment will automatically be charged 4 weeks later. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO INCUR THE CREDIT CARD FEES, see bullet 2. If you need to cancel second payment ~ contact IBF email or messenger.
* Select Pay via Check at checkout for the Full Amount of Entry, any time rides slots, and ONLY send 1/2 of the required payment via check postmarked by March 1. You will be responsible to submit the send half of your payment via check postmarked by April 1 to avoid late fees.
* If you are only wanting to pay the Futurity and Maturity first payment, do not enter any other classes (excluding time only slots) additional classes can be added later.
Can I enter the Open and Sidepots at a later date?
* Yes, and must enter other classes later with the split payment option. After you are entered in one class, you can go in at any time and enter other classes and sidepots.

* credit / debit card online or submit a check\cashier's check via mail. Payments mailed in MUST be postmarked by the due date for the entry. (March 1 (1st nomination payment), April 1(2nd nomination payment) or April 1(Open and Sweepstakes)
