2026 IBF Ground Rules
Futurity - Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26
2D with full second split
$10,000 added | Entry Fee $400| First nomination payment due March 1, second payment due April 1 - online entries only
Open to any horse that is a foal of 2021 younger| Cannot cross enter into the Maturity
Registration papers will be required with nomination, unregistered horses will require a vet affidavit, verifying age
The entered futurity horse must never have competed in a barrel race prior to November 15, 2025 (time onlies excluded)
Late entries or buyouts are accepted until Friday, April 24 at 5pm, with late fee imposed of $70 ($35 per late payment) or buyout fee of $50. If buyout is completed after draw is posted, the buyer will be placed in the runner's position they are buying out.
Substitutions and buyouts will be allowed for a $50 fee (form must be completed)
2 Time onlies provided with entry. Will be ran in order of draw on Friday from 10:30am-2:30pm. Priority for other time onlies prior to March 17
Open to all riders, may ride more than one horse
Can roll time over into the Open
